Thalora was created by a father-and-daughter team with over four decades of combined hospitality experience.
Built on international hotel leadership and modern HR expertise, Thalora brings together operational excellence, five-star service standards, and a deep understanding of the short-term rental market.
The founder is a former pre-opening General Manager with John Keells Hotels (now known as Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts), with extensive experience across Oman, Bahrain, the Maldives, and Dubai. His career has been dedicated to establishing and managing hospitality properties to international standards. He is also currently a trainer for several international hotel brands in Sri Lanka, where he mentors teams and upholds five-star service excellence, operational discipline, and world-class housekeeping standards.
The co-founder, currently based in Canada, is an HR professional with over 15 years experience in Sei Lankan hotel industry worked with brands such as Marriott, ME Colombo, Cinnamon. As an HR professional, she understands people, service culture, urgency and the importance of selecting and training the right individuals to service your property. She brings global compliance knowledge, structured processes, and modern operational systems to the business.Together, they built Thalora to bridge the gap between property owners and reliable, professional housekeeping services in Sri Lanka’s growing short-term rental market.
